7/20/2012 Remember

Today is a tragic day. Early this morning a Aurora theater had a shooting during a movie premier. There was lost of lives and many people were injured. My prayers go out to all the victims and my heart breaks for the families that lost a loved one on this tragic day.

Everyday I go about my life in my own world enjoying my kids and my husband. I don't really ever think about the bad in this world and that places like movie theaters as a safe haven. But this morning I herd this news and a reality set in that you really have no security cause anything can happen.

My emotions are all over the map right now I feel anger toward the shooter, sadness for the victims, I'm thankful that none of my family was harmed and guilty for being thankful no one I knew was harmed. I'm hugging my kids tighter and kissing my husband. I'm thanking God for what he has giving me in my life time because life is to short.

The next few day/weeks are going to be a hard up hill battle here in Colorado but I know everyone as one huge community will pull together and show that this shooter did not win. We will pray, cry, mourn, remember, and stand together. The lives that were taken to soon will be remember and there stories will be told. I want to Thank all the Cop, Firefighter, Swat, bomb squad, and everyone else who help today.

4th of July!

Enjoying good food and each others company!

Its Talons first 4th of July! 

 This forth of July we went to Mile High to BBQ and watch fireworks! The kids had a blast! Aubree ran around most of the time with Ace and Luna playing tag and other crazy fun games! Talon mostly just watched to see what was going on and ate all the great food that was being cooked! Mmmm Nothing Like Ribs for dinner!
We also got to enjoy the firework show at Mile High! It was pretty fantastic! The kids loved it! "OOOO AHHH." Talon was also pretty intrigued with the flashing lights in the sky! I would say His first 4th of July was a success! Nothing like cerebrating our Nation with good food and Family!

Las Vegas!

Just got back from our AWESOME vacation in Las Vegas! We all had a amazing time even though it was crazy HOT! We enjoyed all the sights and shows! We too the kids to see the Pirate show at Treasure Island where Aubree was memorized by the show and Talon truly had no idea on what was going on! There was also a valcano show at the mirage the had Aubree talking about it for a while! "Mommy fire! Mommy fire!" I swear when they do the Mirage show the temp rises a few degrees! We also went on the Paris Eiffel Tower! The view was amazing! Seeing the entire strip from up above! I did have mini panic attack going up and down the elevator though! Next time we go to Vegas I have to go up the Paris ride at night to truly see the Vegas lights! Another attraction we will have to do is to ride the gondola! I have come to the conclusion the the Venetian is my favorite Hotel in Vegas! I think above all though the water show at the Bellegio was everyone favorite thing to watch! We stood there for a few hours the last two nights! Aubree didn't want to leave and Talon was in awed by the water! I would say the kids were very excited with the trip! 

      Brent and I have a lot of fun too on our trip to Vegas! We enjoyed taking our kids out on the strip but we had a lot of fun with out them too! The first night we didn't have them we went to go see The Blue Man Group and they were AMAZING! It was one of the best shows I have ever seen! They were funny and creepy! It was awesome! We also got to take a picture with one of the Blue Men! Which even topped off the night! The next night was a more fast pace! We went out on the town with My cousin Andrew and Brents cousins Mike and Bryce and Bryces Wife Allie! It was a fun night from walking around the strip with drinks to taking a ride in a limo to the Cosmopolitan (which is a beautiful hotel!). We also enjoyed dancing the night away at El Diablo!.....Not to mention this night was our honeymoon night so we ended our night with...well I will let you fill in the blanks! 

       On long our journey on the strip we also took picture with some familiar characters like Captain Jack Sparrow <3 , bumble bee and Optimist Prime, Show girls, Allen from the hangover, and Dora! It was a great fun experince with my family and a vacation I will always treasure!

8 months and Counting

So recently Talon just turned 8 months! He is such a big little man. He now has truly master crawling and he can stand up on his own for at least 10 seconds! Brent is trying to get him to walk!!!!! I'm not ready for that even though I get really excited when he tries to walk! He has one more month to accomplish this walking thing to walk around the same time as Aubree did! I think he should wait until he is like 1! But at this rate its looks like its going to be sooner then that! Welp that about it on Talon milestones!

5 Years and Counting!

I have been counting down the days till I become a Clements and now I only have to wait one more week! Well 7days and like 8 hours...But still pretty much only one more week until we become husband and wife, share this special event with our kids and become ONE as a family!

Brent and I have been together for 5 years and what a 5 years it has been. From falling in love to moving in together, to going to my senior prom and then getting the shock of our lives, finding out I was pregnant! Then the real adventure started, we became parents to Miss Aubree Nevaeh Clements January 22, 2009! It wasn't just HIM and I anymore it was the three of us now! We were a prefect little family. We enjoyed going out taking her to the zoo, park, Utah and San Diego ! Our life became a lot more exciting with our little new bundle filling her with love, hugs and kisses! Celebrating her birthday and well spoiling her to some extent!

But our family was not complete not yet at least we decided it was time to have another little baby and on Feb 9th 2011 I found out I was pregnant! In May 2011 we found out the our baby was a boy and on October 9, 2011 Talon Owen Clements Was born! It was amazing feeling with our little family growing and we knew it was complete...Well almost, we had one loose end and well that was Brent and I still was not married. So we set the date June 16, 2012 and we set the place LAS VEGAS!!!!

That is right Brent and I are getting Married in Vegas by our own rules our own way! I want a wedding I will always remember but also something that hasn't really happen in my family or Brents for that matter. And Yeah Yeah it is a cliche to run off to Vegas to get married but we are not running off our entire family is invited to join us and celebrate this wonderful moment with us!

So looking back on what has happen in the last 5 years I know they were meant to happen and to lead us up to this point, to become a family as one and share this big day together! <3

Lets make a Splash

It was Talons first time swimming tonight and he pretty much loved it!!! He would just sit and relax in his floaty while I pushed him around and watch his sister learning how to swim with out help (besides her floaties of course). When I took him out of the floaty and held him he would splash his hands in the water. He had a great time splashing around and I know this because he is passed out now!

Aubree is swimming all by her self now! She is growing up so fast! She loved swimming from wall to wall in the pool with her daddy!  It is amazing fro last year because she didn't want to let go of us or she had to sit in now Talons float device and now all she needs is her watter wings and she is good to go!
